The experience begins with storytelling through music, comics and animation. Onlookers/listeners will be enticed down a rabbit hole of twists and turns from the forgotten part of the human psyche.
With an expansive catalog of content and concepts across music, art, film and merchandising, the live show is where all of this content collides.
EGOTOXIN
Egotoxin is the sophomore full length from Boss Moxi, and stands as the opening act for a stage called Yugen. Sixty minutes of continuous, revolving and mind-poking music acts as the score to the dark, twisted story thrown across 120 pages of original graphic novel illustrations.
THE STORY OF EGOTOXIN
The comic book tells the story of cognitive
dissonance through the eyes of key main
characters and their struggles for peace within.
The setting of the city is explored in a non linear style, where the scarab, an icon for greed, is the overseeing eye that orders the masses discreetly.
With love left as a mystical and tormentous
affair, heroes are forced to use the shadows to
remain unseen in their pursuit for justice. The
lyrics of the music perform the narrative, as the
eyes of the listener follow every word across the
pages of the graphic novel.
INKED BY US
The graphic novel along with all of Boss Moxi's content is completely done in house. Whilst a team may grow to improve productivity for the Graphic Novels in the future it's current, fully drawn, drafted, inked and coloured by the one artist, the frontman, Brayden Doig.
